Cielo è un'app per leggere la Bibbia. È fatta per raccogliere meno dati possibile.

Cosa resta sul tuo telefono

Queste informazioni sono salvate solo sul tuo dispositivo e non vengono inviate a noi:

• le scelte fatte all'inizio (lingua, tradizione, temi, orario del promemoria);
• i versetti salvati, le evidenziazioni e le note;
• i giorni di fila, gli studi aperti oggi e i progressi nei percorsi;
• i versetti dei prossimi giorni, usati dal widget e dalle notifiche.

Non serve un account. Se disinstalli l'app o ne cancelli i dati, queste informazioni vengono eliminate.

Notifiche

I promemoria sono notifiche locali: vengono programmate sul telefono e non passano da un nostro server. Puoi disattivarli nelle impostazioni dell'app o del telefono.

Lettura ad alta voce

Quando non c'è una registrazione, i versetti vengono letti dal motore di sintesi vocale del telefono, gestito dal sistema operativo secondo le sue condizioni. Se l'app scarica una registrazione da un nostro server, quel server riceve, come ogni sito, l'indirizzo IP e il file richiesto, solo per consegnarlo.

Abbonamento Cielo+

Gli acquisti sono gestiti da Google Play (Android) o dall'App Store (iOS). Noi non vediamo i tuoi dati di pagamento: l'app riceve dallo store solo se l'abbonamento è attivo.

Statistiche ed errori

Oggi l'app non invia statistiche d'uso né rapporti di errore. Se in futuro useremo un servizio per questo, aggiorneremo questa informativa prima di farlo, indicando quale servizio e quali dati.

Condivisione

Quando condividi un versetto, l'immagine o il testo passano all'app che scegli tu, tramite la funzione di condivisione del telefono.

Lista d'attesa sul sito

Su cielo.today puoi lasciare la tua email per sapere quando Cielo esce. In quel caso salviamo solo l'indirizzo email, la lingua della pagina e la data dell'iscrizione. Lo facciamo solo con il tuo consenso, che dai spuntando la casella.

• Usiamo l'email solo per avvisarti dell'uscita di Cielo e per poche novità importanti. Non la vendiamo e non la diamo a nessuno.
• I dati sono conservati su Cloudflare, che ospita il sito e agisce per nostro conto.
• Puoi chiedere in ogni momento di vedere, correggere o cancellare il tuo indirizzo scrivendo all'email qui sotto. Lo cancelliamo comunque se non ti serve più, al più tardi un anno dopo l'uscita dell'app.
• Puoi anche presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Il sito non usa cookie né strumenti di statistica.

Bambini

L'app Cielo non raccoglie dati personali di nessuno, compresi i bambini. La lista d'attesa sul sito è riservata a chi ha almeno 14 anni.

Cielo Privacy Policy

Cielo is an app for reading the Bible. It is built to collect as little data as possible.

What stays on your phone

The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us:

• the choices you make at the start (language, tradition, themes, reminder time);
• saved verses, highlights and notes;
• your day streak, today's opened studies and journey progress;
• the verses for the coming days, used by the widget and notifications.

No account is needed. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of this.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled on your phone and don't go through any server of ours. You can turn them off in the app's or the phone's settings.

Read aloud

When there is no recording, verses are read by your phone's text-to-speech engine, which is run by the operating system under its own terms. If the app downloads a recording from our server, that server receives, like any website, your IP address and the file requested, only to deliver it.

Cielo+ subscription

Purchases are handled by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). We never see your payment details: the app only learns from the store whether your subscription is active.

Analytics and crash reports

Today the app sends no usage statistics or crash reports. If we ever use a service for this, we will update this policy before doing so, naming the service and the data involved.

Sharing

When you share a verse, the image or text goes to the app you choose, through your phone's share feature.

Website waiting list

On cielo.today you can leave your email to hear when Cielo is out. If you do, we store only the email address, the page language and the sign-up date. We do this only with your consent, which you give by ticking the box.

• We use your email only to tell you when Cielo is out and for the occasional important update. We never sell or share it.
• The data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the site and acts on our behalf.
• You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your address by writing to the email below. We delete it anyway once it's no longer needed, at the latest one year after the app is released.
• You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

The website uses no cookies and no analytics tools.

Children

The Cielo app doesn't collect personal data from anyone, children included. The website waiting list is for people aged 16 and over (14 in Italy).
